In 2020, we started a contest where we asked you, our readers, to take pictures of certain landmarks or buildings. You did just that! WOW, some of our best covers we have done were pictures taken by you. Two years ago, we changed it to “Beautiful Bartlesville,” where you could take a picture of whatever subject you want. This year, you did not disappoint, and the numbers speak for themselves. We had over 25,000 people in 42 states and 3 countries view the pictures with over 700 votes on these beautiful images of this great city. This year, the People’s Choice and the cover winner were so close. The People’s Choice winner was Jeremy Scott with a beautiful picture of two horses taken right outside Bartlesville. Congratulations, Jeremy! Now this is where it got really interesting with the cover winner. When I say it was close on votes, I mean the top picks were within 1 vote to determine the winner. This year’s winner for the cover is Heather Murphree. This is her second year in a row to win the cover, and her picture of our old historic courthouse is stunning.
