Advent Musical Moments

First Presbyterian Church in downtown Bartlesville will be hosting a noon-time concert series on Wednesdays in December.  This is a wonderful opportunity to take some time to relax and enjoy the short concerts perform by some of well-known local musicians.  Presbyterian Women will have brown bag lunches available for the purchase price of $5.

 December 1st – Lauren Green and Kathy Stewart will be playing a beautiful selection of holiday cello/piano arrangements.  Lauren is the conductor of the Bartlesville Symphony Orchestra and a cellist with the Tulsa Symphony.  Kathy is the Music Director at First Presbyterian Church.

 December 8th - Local pianist and chanteuse Ann-Janette Webster will be singing songs of the season.  Ann-Janette is always a favorite performer!

 December 15th - An acapella quartet of local vocalists will be singing Favorite classical Christmas/Advent carols from the Renaissance to modern “classics.”  Some of your favorites are sure to be among them!

December 22nd – Organist William Pattison will be finishing the series in grand style at the 42 rank pipe organ of First Presbyterian Church.  A junior at Texas A&M, William is a student of Dr. Randy Thompson of Bartlesville.  Come and enjoy this debut concert by this young organist!
