Hometown History Book Club Discussion

The Bartlesville Area History Museum is excited to announce the Hometown History Book Club's August and September read The Bedside Book of Bad Girls: Outlaw Women of the American, West by Michael Rutter. The book club will meet to discuss the book on Thursday, September 30th at 7 p.m. at the Bartlesville Area History Museum.
This book features the real stories of everyone’s favorite bad girls. Learn about local legends Kate Bender and Bell Starr as well as other infamous ladies like Calamity Jane, Little Britches and Cattle Annie, and the Rose of Cimarron. Find out which of these stories are larger than life and which of these women were actually bad to the bone. We guarantee you will learn something new about our region’s outlaw women.
