H.V. Foster’s La Quinta Mansion Tour

On November 20, 2025, at 12:00 PM, we will be taking a journey across town to explore one of Bartlesville’s hidden gems, the La Quinta Mansion at Oklahoma Wesleyan University. Join Education Coordinator, Denise Nowlin, as she spins a tale of the genius of Edward Delk, the architect of the mansion, and his influence on architecture in Oklahoma. Then stick around as H.V. Foster’s great-grandson, David Preston, gives a one-of-a-kind tour through the hallways and gardens of this unique house. NOTE: This venue does not have an elevator, and parking is a distance away from the Mansion, so please be aware that some walking and climbing stairs will be involved in this event. The presentation about Edward Delk will begin at 12:00 PM on Thursday, November 20, 2025 with the walking tour taking place after that.
