May Lunch & Learn – “101 Ranch”
May 18, 2023 | 12 - 1 p.m.

Cowboys, elephants and a bear, oh my! The Bartlesville Area History Museum is excited to invite the public to gallop back in time with us as we hear captivating stories, told by Sudi DeShazo, of how Col. George W. Miller and sons were catapulted into owning one of grandest father-son cattle businesses in Oklahoma! Guests are encouraged to bring their own lunch or enjoy light refreshments provided by BAHM while discovering how the 101 Ranch grew into a self-sustaining community with a sweets addicted black bear, herds of elephants, famous movie stars and a traveling Wild West Show! This event will be held Thursday, May 18th, from 12:00 p.m. - 1 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to enjoy the museum’s newest exhibit “Oklahoma Beginnings: The Legacy of Ranching in Northeast Oklahoma,” on display from April 10th through June 30th. The presentation will begin at noon. Tables and chairs will be set up for people who bring a lunch, and little ones may enjoy our ranching coloring station.
