Nowata Pioneer Day

Head on over to Downtown Nowata Saturday, June 6, from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. The annual celebration features a large vintage car show, food trucks, local vendors, and a street dance with live music. The event celebrates local history with family-friendly activities in a festive downtown atmosphere. There will be a Pioneer Princess (girls ages 6-12) and a Pioneer Queen (girls ages 13-18) competition, bed races on Main Street, raffles and giveaways. Old-fashioned music will set the mood as you browse the various vendor booths with homemade arts and crafts, or sample some delicious treats from one of the food stalls. Guests can also participate in the evening street dance during the Nowata Pioneer Day festivities and finish out the night at the Nowata Round-Up Club Rodeo.
