Plein Air: Monday mornings painting class with Cris Sundquist

The plein air classes, held Monday mornings from 10 a.m. to noon, will focus on topics such as simplifying subject matter, finding multiple paintings in one scene, learning to “see,” responding to the scene as opposed to copying the exact elements, working with a limited palette, and adding dimension to your paintings by interpreting with color. I will teach this class in oil but pastel, acrylic, and watercolorists are welcome as long as they have a good command of their medium. Ideally we will find 5 different easy to access locations and visit each twice during the course of the class.
